Eaton is seeking a passionate Communications Director for the Aerospace Group, ideally based at the US HQ in Beachwood, Ohio. The role leads a small team to craft and execute an integrated communications strategy to educate, elevate and amplify aerospace growth, with travel up to 25%.

The incumbent will partner with senior leadership to drive stakeholder engagement, media relations and enterprise-wide messaging, spanning internal and external audiences.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications in aerospace, industrial or B2B sectors.
• Experience leading communications for a large business segment or division, including media relations.
• Strong understanding of global media landscapes.
• Experience building media relationships, credibility and strategic reputation-building.
• Leadership in a matrix environment with global collaboration.
• Strong executive presence and ability to counsel senior executives under pressure.
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to influence across a global, matrixed organization.
• Strategic thinker with a bias for action and results.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, lead and execute Aerospace’s communications strategy aligned with business goals.
• Partner with the Aerospace Leadership Team to craft narratives supporting growth and employee engagement.
• Lead communications and measurement strategies for initiatives including leadership visibility and transformation.
• Serve as trusted partner to the Aerospace president and leadership team in executive communications.
• Drive employee engagement through clear internal communications across channels.
• Collaborate across functions on projects including transformations and negotiations.
• Lead external communications with Global Communications, Investor Relations and Government Affairs.
• Oversee aerospace media relations and act as spokesman for media inquiries.
• Coordinate crisis communications and issues management with enterprise stakeholders.
• Manage internal and external events, including global leadership summits and industry events.
