Job summary

Eaton's Aerospace Group is seeking a Communications Director to shape and amplify strategic communications globally. The role reports to the Aerospace President and collaborates with Global Communications to educate, elevate and accelerate growth.

You will lead a small team, drive employee engagement, manage high-stakes media relations, executive communications, and major initiatives, with travel up to 25% and preference for Beachwood, OH, US HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, aerospace preferred.
• Experience leading communications for a large business segment and media relations/crisis comms.
• Strong understanding of global media landscapes and executive counsel.
• Leadership in a matrix, global collaboration and high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute Aerospace communications strategy aligned with business goals.
• Partner with leadership to craft narratives supporting growth and employee engagement.
• Lead executive communications, including presentations and messaging across channels.
• Drive external communications, media relations, and enterprise storytelling.
• Oversee crises, issues management, events and internal communications initiatives.
