The Portland Baroque Orchestra is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization during a pivotal time of renewal and growth. The orchestra has made significant strides in improving its finances and reconnecting with audiences after the pandemic. The new Executive Director will focus on audience development, increasing contributed revenue, ensuring long-term financial sustainability, and enhancing organizational capacity. This role requires a leader with strategic vision and practical skills to transform artistic goals into lasting organizational success.The Executive Director will manage a team of six staff members, including three direct reports, and will be instrumental in guiding the orchestra's mission of bringing Baroque and early Classical music to life. While experience with a unionized workforce is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000.
