Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living in Ojai, CA is seeking an Executive Director to lead a 48-bed community. This on-site leadership role oversees budgeting, daily operations, staffing, and the delivery of caring, dignified services to residents, while building strong relationships with families and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, psychology, gerontology, business or related field.
• Two years of executive director or related administrator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements and manage a budget.
• Proven ability to hire, direct and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility in accordance with Title 17, Title 22 and established company policy, program and budget.
• Oversee community staff and day-to-day operations
• Hire and supervise employees, ensuring adequate staffing of quality associates
• Foster creativity among staff to deliver services that maintain and enhance resident stability, independence and satisfaction
• Develop and implement an annual business plan to maintain high occupancy and achieve financial goal
• Represent community to governmental agencies, professional organizations, community groups, etc.
