Job summary

Role Description

We are seeking a part-time Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and oversee the foundation's operations, programs, and engagement with stakeholders. This hybrid role is based in Newark, DE, with flexibility for some remote work. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and supporting teams, driving fundraising and grant initiatives, fostering partnerships, overseeing budget management, and ensuring that the organization meets its mission and goals.

Qualifications

• Leadership and strategic planning skills with experience leading nonprofit organizations or similar initiatives
• Strong financial management and budget oversight capabilities
• Fundraising experience, including grant writing and donor relationship management
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage and inspire teams, volunteers, and board members
• Organizational and program management skills to oversee multiple initiatives effectively
• Passion for community development and a commitment to the mission of the BTL Foundation
• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
• Prior experience in a hybrid work environment is an advantage
