Job summary

The Ivy Cherry Hills in Centennial, Colorado seeks an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, drive financial performance, and manage staff of a senior living community. This role partners with residents and families to deliver high-quality care in a compliant, people-centered environment.

You will oversee budgeting, occupancy, regulatory compliance, and team development while upholding Oakmont Management Group’s standards. A passion for seniors and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Colorado Assisted Living Administrator License required.
• Two years of college and at least three years’ residential care experience or equivalent.
• Five years of supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn care-specific software.
• Knowledge of assisted living and dementia care concepts.
• Ability to work with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals.
• Strong communication, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to adapt, prioritize, and make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to pass background and health screenings, including TB tests.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 plus a bonus structure
The Ivy Cherry Hills is a senior living community in Centennial, Colorado, managed by Oakmont Management Group.

The Executive Director is responsible fmeor the efficient operations and overall management and direction of the day-to-day functions of their Community in accordance with property policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations. They will hire, evaluate, coordinate, monitor performance, schedule, and supervise staff in accordance with company policy. The Executive Director is also responsible for achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy; achieving and maintaining budgetary compliance; professionally representing the property to the community and the Corporation, and creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for the residents.

Qualifications

• Must have a Colorado Assisted Living Administrator License.
• Completion of two (2) years of college and at least three (3) years of experience providing residential care to the elderly, or equivalent education and experience as approved by the Department of Social Services.
• Prefer five (5) years of experience supervising and managing employees
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care
• Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals
• Able to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations, and prioritize tasks and projects.
• Able to process information and apply common sense understanding to follow and carry out written or oral instructions.
• Able to analyze, solve and respond to problems or concerns.
• Able to count and perform moderately complex math problems, read and understand budgets and other financial reports/statements
• Able to explain ideas and communicate complex ideas to a wide audience (employees, residents, family members, governmental agencies, public, etc) both in writing and verbally
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
