Chester County, PA is seeking a Deputy Warden of Security to lead the Security Department of the county prison. Reporting to the Warden, you will supervise operations, ensure safety, and guide rehabilitative programs while maintaining accountability and inmate safety.

The role requires strong leadership under pressure, a track record in corrections or related fields, and the ability to coordinate with courts and external agencies. A 24/7 on-call rotating schedule is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Eight years in corrections/security/military/law enforcement with four years in admin roles.
• Completion of PA Department of Corrections Basic Training within 12 months and Supervisor Training within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to pass PA State Police PATCH, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI fingerprint checks; qualify as a JNET user.
• Knowledge of ACA Standards for Adult Correctional Facilities; PA crimes code and vehicle law.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Security Department of the Chester County Prison and serve as department head in the Warden's absence.
• Report to the Warden and partner with county leadership, the courts, and outside agencies.
• Participate in a rotating Duty Officer schedule with 24/7 on-call responsibility.
