Public Health Solutions seeks an Executive Content Strategist to lead social content for the NYC Health Commissioner. You will work with the executive communications manager and the Communications Bureau to shape a cohesive, accessible voice across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public policy, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in digital content strategy, editorial planning, or cross-channel campaign execution.
• Proven ability to develop content for diverse and multilingual audiences, with an understanding of accessibility and language access best practices.
• Strong understanding of editorial workflows, approval processes, including managing content calendars and collaborating across teams.
• Familiarity with New York City government, civic engagement initiatives, or voter education is desirable.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience supervising or mentoring creative staff.
• A collaborative partner that thrives in a team environment.
• Organized content professional to create and maintain a content archive.
• Flexible to perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a member of the executive communications team.
• Plan and execute social content for the NYC Health Commissioner.
• Develop messaging to elevate the Commissioner’s profile on social media.
• Maintain master and specialized social media calendars.
• Execute rapid response workflows for timely, accessible content.
• Collaborate with the agency’s creative team.
