Role Overview

The Associate of Executive Compensation will play a key role on the Total Rewards team, supporting the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs for Executives, Managing Directors, and Principals. Reporting to the Manager of Executive Compensation, this role provides support in benchmarking, modeling, analytics, and executing executive pay programs at a public company. It offers an excellent opportunity for analytically minded professionals to deepen expertise in executive compensation, gain exposure to compensation committee materials, equity programs, and public company pay practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support annual executive and MD/P compensation cycles, including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term incentives.
  2. Conduct market benchmarking for executive and MD/P roles using surveys and proxy data.
  3. Prepare compensation models, scenarios, and pay analyses for decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and external partners to administer executive compensation programs, ensuring alignment with company initiatives.
  5. Assist in developing materials for the Compensation Committee, including presentations and data summaries.
  6. Support preparation of the CD&A section of the annual proxy statement.
  7. Manage the executive compensation calendar, tracking key deliverables.
  8. Maintain documentation, process guides, and compliance records related to executive pay programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, HR, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in compensation or HR roles.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with ability to analyze large datasets.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and curious mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, effective with HR colleagues and business partners.
  • Knowledge of compensation survey methodologies, pay benchmarking, and incentive plan design is a plus.
  • Experience in a public company environment and familiarity with SEC, proxy, CD&A considerations is an asset.
  • Workday and Power BI experience is an asset.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range is $75,000-$100,000, with total estimated compensation including incentives ranging from $86,250-$115,000. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, market factors, and travel requirements. The role is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs. This information complies with applicable salary transparency laws.
