Job summary

Lambda is hiring a Communications Manager to craft the executive communications strategy for our leadership team. You will shape each executive's voice and public profile, building repeatable systems to scale as the company grows.

Lead external messaging, write talk tracks and bylines, and place interviews and speaking opportunities while managing agency partners and reporter/audience relationships. Hybrid SF/SJ role with in-office presence four days a week.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in communications, including in‑house experience at a hypergrowth start‑up.
• Proven ability to build out executive communications playbooks for multiple leaders.
• Strong media relationships and a track record you can point to.
• Knowledge of the AI space, particularly AI infrastructure.
• Strong writing skills with experience ghostwriting for executives.
• Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical teams.

About the role

Lambda is hiring a Communications Manager to build out the executive communications strategy for our leadership team. You will work with each of our executives to shape their individual voice and public profile, and build the systems that make the work repeatable as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

• Set the external agenda for each member of the leadership team and run the program behind it.

• Write talking points, keynotes, long-form pieces, social posts, and more.

• Are a strong writer and have experience ghostwriting for executives across multiple functions.

• Work well with technical and non-technical teams.
