Job summary

Community Medical Center, Inc. in Falls City, Nebraska seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing operations across Acute Care, Emergency Services, Swing Bed, Pharmacy, Quality, Oncology, Infusion, Risk Management and Infection Prevention.

A BSN is required, with a master’s in nursing or healthcare administration preferred. The CNO will join the executive team reporting to the CEO and shape patient safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing administration, clinical operations, evidence-based practice, and professional standards of care.
• Understanding of patient safety, quality improvement, risk reduction, regulatory requirements, and healthcare laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Acute Care, Emergency Services, Swing Bed, Pharmacy, Quality, Oncology, Infusion, Risk Management and Infection Prevention as part of executive leadership.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives, operational plans, and policies/procedures for the nursing division.
• Serve on the executive leadership team reporting to the CEO.
