Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Vice President & Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) to lead the enterprise nursing innovation, technology strategy, and care model transformation. Reporting to the Chief Nurse Executive and CIO, the CNIO partners with Executive Nurse Cabinet and Digital & Technology Partners.

Responsibilities include guiding the nursing informatics portfolio, implementing AI-enabled workflows, standardizing workflows, and ensuring safe, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

Required: RN licensure; MSN or Informatics master’s degree.
7+ years of progressive leadership roles in healthcare executive nursing informatics or digital health.
Experience implementing AI-enabled clinical workflows.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-wide nursing informatics, innovation portfolio and team.
Develop nursing innovation strategies for AI, virtual care, ambient documentation, and automation.
Collaborate with executives to align nursing informatics with overall strategy.
Oversee regulatory and policy changes impact on nursing practice, including AI governance.
Drive adoption of technology, workflow optimization, and value realization across campuses.
