The Opportunity

This is a field-based role supporting Abbott’s Vascular division, which provides innovative, minimally invasive products for vascular disease treatment, including drug-eluting stents, guide wires, imaging catheters, and more.

We currently seek a Clinical Specialist, Endovascular in Orange County, CA. The role involves case planning, support, and product pull-through, promoting Vascular products through education, service, and training in hospitals. The Clinical Specialist will assist in achieving sales targets, increasing revenues, and expanding market share, reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a technical expert during procedures.
  • Supporting vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and radiologists with our product portfolio.
  • Engaging with existing and potential hospital customers to understand their clinical needs and demonstrate product benefits.
  • Building relationships with hospital personnel and decision-makers.
  • Providing clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education.
  • Educating customers through presentations and demonstrations of our products.
  • Attending clinical procedures to ensure successful product use.
  • Addressing customer concerns and developing solutions collaboratively.
  • Supporting case coverage beyond the primary territory as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 9 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with patient interaction in lab or operating room settings.
  • Relevant technical certifications.
