Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a strategic Chief Medical Officer for Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer or comparable physician leadership role.
• Current New York State license to practice medicine.
• Proven track record of improving clinical quality and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical governance and oversight for quality, safety, infection prevention, and risk management across MSM and MSW.
• Lead and transform clinical services, practice standards, and care delivery across a large academic health system.
• Build alignment with system and local leadership to advance enterprise objectives while meeting local hospital priorities.
• Mentor physician leaders, drive physician engagement, and ensure credentialing standards and FPPE/OPPE processes.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders to advance clinical integration, population health, and service line development.
