Job summary

Centers Health Care in New York seeks a Chief Medical Officer, the senior physician executive responsible for enterprise clinical governance, physician strategy, resident safety, quality, regulatory excellence, physician services and clinical innovation across a growing skilled nursing portfolio.

Reporting to the CEO, the CMO will initially oversee four facilities before expanding to enterprise responsibility across a 40-facility portfolio, while preserving the Medical Director and governance

Qualifications

• MD/DO with unrestricted NY license.
• Board Certified; CMD preferred.
• Executive multi-site SNF leadership.
• Expertise in CMS, NY regulations, QAPI and value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise clinical strategy.
• Standardize evidence-based care.
• Oversee physician recruitment, credentialing, privileging, peer review.
• Lead QAPI, infection prevention, resident safety and emergency preparedness.
• Improve quality, survey readiness and value-based performance.
• Represent the organization with hospitals, payers and regulators.
