Position Title: Executive Chef - The Conrad

Reports To: VP of Operations

Salary: $130,000 to $150,000

We produce one-of-a-kind catered events and unparalleled dining experiences in a variety of cultural, corporate, entertainment, and private venues throughout New York City and beyond.

Job Summary

Working as an Executive Chef, you are responsible for overseeing all culinary functions for a dining account. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee all safety and sanitation as it pertains to the account. Additionally, as part of the culinary team, you will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account
  2. Plans and creates all menus
  3. Purchases and manages inventory
  4. Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Culinary degree preferred
  2. Three to five years of culinary management experience
  3. High volume production and catering experience is essential
  4. Previous experience managing cost controls
  5. Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
