Skopos Hospitality is a cutting-edge group of restaurants and bars located in Northern New Jersey. We are known for our eclectic seasonal food menus, craft beer & cocktails, all set in uniquely designed spaces that transport our guests.

We are currently hiring an Executive Chef. Qualified individuals will have a passionate commitment to food, beverage & service, a solid understanding of restaurant operations, strong knowledge of business financials and an ability to recruit, train and inspire staff. A successful leader within our company will have a dedicated sense of responsibility, an ability to lead a team and will produce results that support the growth of our hospitality group.

Skills & Requirements

  • 5 years of full-service Chef experience in a high volume environment; at least 3 years of Executive Chef experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience with Private Events
  • Experience working with financial reporting
  • Exhibit computer skills with programs such Microsoft Office, Google Drive, POS systems
  • Possess strong communication skills with an ability to keep team on “the same page”
  • Ability to maintain poised and approachable during high-pressure circumstances
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time. Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
