Pay Grade: 11

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Job Summary

As the Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. You will prepare or supervise meal preparation in line with corporate standards. This role is ideal for an energetic culinary professional with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan menus according to guidelines
• Follow recipes, portioning, presentation standards; complete production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality
• Train staff in food prep, safety, sanitation, and equipment use
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas
• Manage inventory within guidelines, ensuring availability of necessary supplies
• Decide on leftover food utilization within company policies
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations and pass audits
• Follow safety policies and participate in departmental meetings and staff development

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in Culinary Arts or related field; or A.O.S. degree with experience
• 3-5 years of culinary management experience
• Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice experience
• Hands-on chef experience required
• Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost controls, presentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet use
• Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs
• ServSafe certification preferred
