Job summary

Hyatt Regency Westlake seeks an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen and shape the F&B program for outlets, banquets, catering, activations, and in-room dining. You will own food quality, team performance, and financial results, while staying hands-on as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in professional kitchens, luxury hotel experience, strong banquet leadership, and a track record of building high-performing teams with disciplined cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in professional kitchens.
• Experience leading Exec Sous or Executive Chef level teams.
• Hotel or luxury hospitality background preferred.
• Strong banquet and multi-outlet leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a culinary team
• Own daily kitchen operations—prep, execution, and presentation
• Build and evolve high-impact menus
• Partner with Ops, F&B, and Sales for events and banquets
• Manage food cost, labor, purchasing, and inventory
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance across kitchens
