Job summary

Everline Resort & Spa in Olympic Valley, California, seeks an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team across a luxury mountain resort. You will shape our culinary identity and deliver exceptional dining for guests, groups, weddings, and events.

Bring 5+ years of senior culinary leadership, a track record in high-volume operations, and strong skills in menu development, cost control, and staff development. This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, destination resort environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
• Experience as Executive Chef or equivalent senior leadership.
• Experience managing multiple outlets and high-volume banquet operations.
• Culinary degree or formal training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary culinary techniques, menu development, and food trends.
• Experience managing food and labor costs and operating within financial budgets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and retain culinary talent.
• Experience with recipe costing, inventory management, purchasing.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all culinary operations across the resort.
• Develop and execute a high-quality culinary vision.
• Coach and develop sous chefs and cooks.
• Recruit, train, and retain culinary staff.
• Oversee multiple outlets and banquets.
• Create seasonal menus reflecting the Lake Tahoe destination.
• Maintain standards for quality, sanitation, and safety.
• Manage food and labor costs and purchasing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Events, and Operations.
