Job summary

Woodcliff Hotel and Spa, part of Schulte Hospitality Group, seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen, elevate guest experience, and drive culinary excellence at Woodcliff Hotel and Spa-21302. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and a passion for hospitality.

You will oversee menu development, food safety, budgeting, and mentorship of a diverse culinary team, ensuring high-quality service across all dining outlets while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a culinary leadership role.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for long- and short-term planning and day-to-day operations of the kitchen and related culinary departments.
• Manage associates and managers in the kitchen to attract, retain and motivate employees while providing a safe environment; hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication and discipline as appropriate.
• Plan and manage procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food in the hotel in a safe, sanitary, cost-effective manner.
• Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure a healthy, safe work environment, meeting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement the department's budget; analyze and control labor and food costs to meet objectives.
• Develop and implement menus and back-up within corporate guidelines to improve revenues and margins while maintaining quality.
• Execute and promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
