Job summary

Bravo Brio Restaurants in Kansas City is seeking a strong Back-of-House leader to drive consistency, safety and profitability. You will lead BOH operations, hire and train staff, ensure food quality and sanitation, and manage costs to support EBITDA goals.

You will coach chefs and cooks, oversee line setup, inventory, and kitchen safety, and partner with the management team to deliver exceptional Italian dining experiences.

Qualifications

• BOH leadership and cost control are essential.
• Experience hiring and training kitchen staff.
• Strong focus on safety, sanitation and menu execution.
• Ability to drive EBITDA through efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Sets and maintains standards in the BOH to improve production and quality.
• Directs and coaches managers and staff during food production and line setup.
• Conducts regular menu tastings to ensure flavor, appearance and consistency.
• Oversees opening/closing duties and ensures stations are prepared and hygienic.
• Hires and develops BOH employees, enforces training programs and compensation guidelines.
• Monitors food cost, labor and training costs to meet budget.
