Job summary

Northgate Country Club in Houston, TX, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee all culinary operations across multiple dining outlets, banquets, and events. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, not administration.

The ideal candidate will manage annual budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and labor, while leading a talented kitchen team to deliver high-quality, consistent dining experiences for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years as Executive Chef or five years as Sous Chef
• Experience leading high-volume dining operations with multiple outlets
• Strong leadership, organizational and coaching skills
• Knowledge of menu planning for restaurants and banquets, with buffet and banquet execution

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations across multiple dining outlets
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and labor management to meet financial goals
• Lead kitchen staff recruitment, training, and development
• Standardize recipes and plate presentation for à la carte venues and events
• Ensure exceptional member and guest dining experiences
