Job Opportunity: Executive Chef at Frankford Hall

Hoist a stein and release a hearty “Prost!” – Frankford Hall, affiliated with STARR Restaurants, is a German biergarten for the 21st century. Set in an industrial structure in the heart of Philadelphia’s Fishtown, Frankford Hall balances edge and charm with features like massive garage doors and string lights, offering both open-air picnic tables and indoor bar areas. We embody the true Teutonic spirit with a modern twist, serving German and American beers by the liter alongside hearty eats such as sausages, burgers, and Bavarian pretzels.

We are currently seeking an Executive Chef for our New-American beer garden, who speaks the language of fun and beer.

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, teach, and coach restaurant employees.
  • 4+ years of kitchen leadership experience as an Executive Sous Chef or higher in high-volume, well-rated restaurants.
  • The ability to support the line during service while managing the transition from prep to service.
  • Experience managing staff and scheduling is highly desired.
  • An Associate's degree from a culinary-focused university is highly preferred.
  • Experience with American cuisine and in-house made products.
