Job Summary:

Lead daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food prep. Deliver show-quality food, develop staff, and improve satisfaction while managing budgets and ensuring safety protocols.

Leading Culinary Operation:

  • Oversee food prep, quality, safety, and team performance.
  • Design food presentation and develop menus with seasonal ingredients.
  • Source fresh ingredients, maintain consistency, and research customer preferences.
  • Prepare a variety of foods, demonstrate techniques, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Business & Financial Acumen:

  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Manage expenses, control costs, and analyze financial data.
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and staffing based on forecasted volumes.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:

  • Create resident satisfaction through training and engagement.
  • Engage professionally with residents and staff, handle feedback, and improve service quality.

Team Building and Management:

  • Lead team meetings, set goals, and foster engagement.
  • Provide training, performance feedback, and coaching to staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of culinary/kitchen management experience.
  • Extensive catering and high-volume operation experience preferred.
  • Hands-on chef experience required.
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost controls.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
