Job Summary:

Seeking an organized, inspiring leader to oversee daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food prep. You will showcase culinary talents, develop staff, and ensure satisfaction while managing budgets and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead culinary production, quality, safety, and team performance
  • Develop menus with seasonal ingredients
  • Ensure product freshness and consistency
  • Research customer preferences and innovate menu offerings
  • Supervise food preparation and staff activities
  • Maintain safety, sanitation, and storage standards

Business & Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial data
  • Oversee inventory and purchasing
  • Adjust operations based on financial insights

Customer Service & Team Management:

  • Create resident satisfaction through training and engagement
  • Foster a culture of genuine hospitality and teamwork
  • Respond to resident feedback and resolve issues
  • Lead team meetings and develop staff performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of culinary management experience
  • Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice experience
  • Hands-on chef experience required
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • ServSafe certification preferred
