Job Summary:

An organized culinary leader responsible for daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, food prep, and ensuring food quality and safety. The role involves developing staff, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.

Leading Culinary Operations:

• Oversee meal preparation, presentation, safety, and sanitation compliance
• Develop menus with seasonal and local ingredients
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure product quality
• Research customer preferences and innovate menu offerings
• Train staff on new techniques and equipment

Business & Financial Management:

• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the community’s mission
• Manage food costs, supplies, and department budgets
• Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and profitability

Customer Service:

• Ensure 100% resident satisfaction through staff training and engagement
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally

Team Management:

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of culinary management experience
• Extensive catering and high-volume operation experience
• Hands-on chef experience required

• ServSafe certification preferred
