Job Summary:

Lead daily kitchen operations, including recruiting, training, and food preparation, ensuring culinary excellence and compliance with safety standards. Develop menus, oversee staff, and manage budgets to maximize resident satisfaction and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food production, quality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Develop and innovate menus with seasonal and local ingredients
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high performance
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and purchasing
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Promote a positive team environment and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary management experience
  • Experience with high-volume operations and catering preferred
  • Hands-on cooking experience required
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable
