Job Summary

As the Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and ensure meal preparation aligns with corporate standards. This role is ideal for an energetic culinary professional with entrepreneurial drive.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan menus based on guidelines
  2. Follow recipes, portion, and presentation standards; utilize production worksheets and waste logs; taste food for quality
  3. Train staff in food prep, safety, equipment operation, and sanitation
  4. Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas
  5. Manage inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability
  6. Decide on leftover food utilization within company policies
  7. Comply with health and sanitation regulations and pass audits
  8. Follow safety policies and participate in meetings and training

Preferred Qualifications

  1. A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  2. 3-5 years of culinary/kitchen management experience
  3. Catering experience is a plus
  4. Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
  5. Hands-on chef experience is required
  6. Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, costs, and presentation
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
  8. ServSafe certification preferred
