What You'll Do:
Lead all aspects of the community's dining program, delivering an exceptional dining experience for residents.
Manage kitchen staffing, scheduling, inventory, and department budget.
Maintain a visible presence in the dining room to ensure food quality and resident satisfaction.
Oversee daily food preparation and ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Develop menus using approved recipes while incorporating seasonal, regional, and resident preferences.
Train, coach, and develop dining services team members.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain compliance with food safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
7+ years of food service experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage and handling practices.
Current food safety certification, or ability to obtain one as required by state and local regulations.
Working knowledge of HACCP principles and ServSafe standards.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires regular use of a computer and may involve occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds, as well as bending, reaching, and walking throughout the community.
