Key Responsibilities

• Create menus that showcase local ingredients and cater to various dietary restrictions.

• Train and lead a team of kitchen staff providing guidance on cooking techniques and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dining experiences.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of diverse cuisines and ability to adapt recipes accordingly.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
• A passion for food and creativity in menu development.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef.
• Experience working in a seasonal environment is an asset.
• Knowledge of Pakistani cuisine is an asset.

Salary

$1400 per month, negotiable based on experience.

This is a temporary position for the busy season. There may be potential for extension based on performance. Accommodations may be provided for the duration of the contract if needed.
