Job summary

Morrison is seeking a seasoned CFO to lead the financial function for a leading agriculture industry supplier in Stockton, CA. You will oversee accounting, treasury, risk, tax, and internal controls, partnering with the CEO to shape strategy and growth.

Responsibilities include oversight of GAAP compliance, external reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing a small finance team. Strong leadership, communication, and credibility with lenders, auditors, and the Board are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years in a comparable-sized company with senior leadership responsibilities.
• Broad business orientation across operations, marketing and other functions.
• Experience with external auditors, banks, and third parties.
• Strong judgment, independence, and leadership credibility.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, reporting, tax, and HR/IT.
• Design and maintain internal controls and GAAP-compliant procedures.
• Oversee compliance reporting to banks, external financials, and tax authorities.
• Perform Corporate Treasurer duties as outlined by the bylaws.
• Manage relationships with auditors, lenders, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Collaborate with CEO, operations, and Board on growth initiatives.
