Job summary

Rapport Guest Services in New York City is seeking an Executive Catering Coordinator for high-profile events within a C-suite environment. You will manage the full event lifecycle—from planning to post-event breakdown—ensuring flawless service and discretion.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in food service with management exposure, catering experience, strong budgeting skills, and proficiency in MS Office and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience is required.
• Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees upscale catering events from start to finish.
• Involved in catering events operations, including logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and all facility-related activities.
• Ensures a polished, seamless, and highly personalized experience for C-suite executives, clients and distinguished guests.
• Trains catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
• Oversees catering staff and service execution during events.
• Ensure meal periods of events are set up on time and to predetermined standards for all TIAA floors.
• Communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels; maintains excellent client relationships.
• Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
