Job Summary

As the Executive Catering Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations for catering and retail, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment. You will prepare meals according to company standards, leading a team of culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan menus following established guidelines
  • Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; ensure quality through tasting
  • Train staff on food prep, safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • Manage inventory within guidelines
  • Decide on leftover food utilization
  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
  • Follow safety policies and participate in meetings and training
Preferred Qualifications
  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of culinary/kitchen management experience
  • Catering and high-volume foodservice experience preferred
  • Hands-on chef experience required
  • Knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and food cost controls
  • Computer skills including MS Office and email
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
