Position: Casino Host

Position Purpose

Under general supervision, enhance gaming revenue growth through developing our customer database. Develop new and existing players to increase trip frequency and theoretical/earning potential while providing exceptional guest services. Ensure guests have a memorable experience, address their needs, and act on their behalf to secure information and reservations for visits, events, and promotions. Actively prospect new business and seek higher-level player sign-ups.

Essential Functions
  1. Host high-end guests and maintain player development accounts to build loyalty.
  2. Meet new guests and greet familiar ones to develop the player base and encourage return visits.
  3. Promote Caesars reward program to qualified guests and invite them to use club amenities to foster loyalty.
  4. Award compliments based on gaming action and program guidelines.
  5. Coordinate guest visits, including reservations and special requests, to ensure convenience and comfort.
  6. Organize special functions and handle invitee lists and feedback collection.
  7. Contact guests via calls, letters, or visits to increase trip frequency.
  8. Represent the company at off-property functions to entertain or assist guests.
  9. Mentor casino hosts and guide player development practices.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills for complimentaries.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Physical mobility to stand/walk for 8-12 hour shifts.
  • Outstanding guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in areas with dust, smoke, noise, temperature variations, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and air quality.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Typically, these skills are acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent, plus three years of progressive casino, marketing, or sales experience, including one year in player development, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
