Qualifications

Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) is a global Jewish human rights organization that confronts anti-Semitism and hate, defends the safety of Israel and Jews worldwide, and teaches the lessons of the Holocaust through awareness, advocacy, justice, education, and its Museums of Tolerance. Since its founding in 1977, SWC has over 400,000 member families and an international presence through its Museums of Tolerance, Moriah Films, and the Digital Terrorism + Hate Project.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, SWC operates in New York, Chicago, Miami, Toronto, Paris, Berlin, Jerusalem, and Buenos Aires. It is an accredited NGO at the United Nations, UNESCO, the Organization of American States, the Latin American Parliament, and the Council of Europe, maintaining high-level government relationships worldwide. In 1993, SWC opened the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, serving as a flagship educational institution. About The Position

The Executive Business Partner to the EVP Education supports key educational initiatives, manages cross-functional projects, facilitates meetings, and ensures regional alignment with national strategies. The role involves working closely with field offices to structure, track, and quantify deliverables through quarterly work plans. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, strategic, and passionate about education's role in fighting hate and promoting Jewish identity.

About You
  • You’re a digital-savvy, mission-driven professional with at least 5 years supporting senior executives or leading complex projects.
  • You excel at managing deadlines, analyzing data, and translating ideas into action, whether in person, online, or on the road.
  • You’re a collaborative leader capable of coaching teams, building scalable systems, and ensuring strategic alignment across regions.
  • You believe in education’s power to combat hate and are willing to travel to regional offices to advance SWC’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects for the EVP Education.
  • Set goals, timelines, and accountability measures; track progress and update stakeholders regularly.
Regional Strategy Support & Field Office Engagement
  • Travel to field offices to support alignment with national educational strategies.
  • Assist regional teams in creating quarterly work plans with measurable outcomes.
Strategic Support & Decision-Making
  • Conduct research and provide analysis for executive decisions.
  • Prepare briefs, reports, and presentations for the Board and stakeholders.
Meeting Coordination & Facilitation
  • Prepare agendas, briefings, and facilitate follow-ups for meetings.
Educational Initiative Leadership
  • Oversee progress of educational initiatives, ensuring impact and operational goals are met.
Trustee Engagement & Communication
  • Support planning and communication for the Education Committee of the Board of Trustees.
Jewish Organization Engagement
  • Build partnerships with Jewish organizations, schools, and community leaders.
  • Represent SWC at meetings and engagements as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure collaboration across departments and regional offices.
Administrative & Strategic Support
  • Provide administrative support to the EVP, including scheduling and document management.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years in executive support, project management, or strategic operations, preferably in nonprofit or educational settings.
  • Experience working with Boards and senior leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Google Workspace).
  • Willingness to travel up to 20–30%.
  • Knowledge of the Jewish community, education systems, and antisemitism is a plus.
