Job summary

Texas A&M University - Central Texas seeks an Associate Dean & Graduate Program Director to guide COBA’s academic, accreditation, and governance functions. You will oversee DBA and MBA programs, chair accreditation committees, and coordinate curriculum, admissions, and budget aligned with university policy.

The role requires a doctorate, tenured-eligible status, and proven leadership in accreditation processes, with heavy involvement in curriculum, assessment, and student progression milestones.

Qualifications

• Must hold an earned doctorate from an accredited institution in a discipline offered within the College of Business Administration (COBA).
• Must hold or be eligible for a tenured faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor within the college.
• Demonstrated academic leadership experience (e.g., department chair, program director) and experience managing accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead AACSB & SACSCOC accreditation efforts, monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate advising and student mentoring within COBA.
• Maintain accuracy of undergraduate and graduate program descriptions in the University Catalog.
