The University of Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in the College of Nursing. Based in Providence, RI, you will provide leadership in the development, planning, analysis, and administration of Graduate Programs and report to College leadership.

Required: a Ph.D. with tenure eligibility, graduate teaching experience, strong communication and supervisory skills, and familiarity with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. and eligibility for tenure required.
• Experience teaching at the graduate level.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven supervisory experience in an academic setting.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulations for graduate nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in development, planning, analysis, and administration of Graduate Programs.
• Act as a member of the College Administrative Leadership Team.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to advance graduate nursing education and research.
• Oversee program quality, accreditation readiness, and compliance.
