Job summary

NC State University—Poole College of Management seeks an Associate Dean for Academic Programs to provide strategic leadership for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and certificate programs. The role reports to the Dean and helps ensure rigorous, distinctive, financially sustainable academic offerings aligned with workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a doctoral degree in a business-related field with a minimum of three (3) years or greater of academic leadership experience.
• Experienced faculty member with a research record commensurate with that of a tenured full professor in a business discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Poole College of Management’s undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and certificate programs.
• Lead enrollment planning and monitor recruitment, enrollment, retention, completion, and student outcomes.
• Oversee academic program reviews and ensure findings inform program and resource decisions.
• Lead College-wide strategy for advising, retention, progression, completion, and the student academic experience.
