Distribution company is hiring an experienced Executive Assistant. The position is full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. This is a permanent position that provides benefits after a 30 day probationary period. This position will require overnight domestic travel every quarter. Some overtime may also be required however it is limited; maybe twice a month. The ideal applicant will have 5+ years experience as an Executive Assistant for a senior VP in a large company.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting a member of management on the executive team. This is a high profile position that requires an individual with advanced computer skills, advanced writing, editing, spelling and grammar abilities. Create master Excel spreadsheets for meetings, take meeting minutes, and sit-in on confidential board meetings. Applicants must be able to type 50 wpm or greater. Assist with research and compiling data for assigned projects. Assist manager in preparing presentations. Individuals should be accustomed to utilizing PowerPoint. Manage personal and professional calendar, coordinate all domestic travel itinerary; flight, transportation, hotel accommodations, and meeting itinerary. Work closely with multiple internal departments, outside vendors, clients and employees.
