Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center in Seward, AK is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative and project management support to the Administrator and executive teams. The role is full-time, 40 hours/week, day shift, onsite.

The position requires 5 years of progressive experience in office administration for executives; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with 1 year in a medical setting and familiarity with medical terminology.

The Executive Administrative Assistant under minimal supervision applies significant discretion and judgment in providing advanced administrative and project management support directly to and on behalf of the Administrator, Executive Team, and Servant Leadership Team in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards. The Executive Assistant is responsible for the coordination of business activities to include Contract Management while maintaining confidentiality when working with proprietary and sensitive information that often requires coordination across departments, senior management, Region and System executives and external contacts. Fosters change and teamwork to ensure constructive relationships and growth while maintaining a positive and professional image when interacting with patients, their families, physicians, employees and general public.

Required qualifications:
