Position Details

  • Salary Range: $17.65-$20.43/hour
Job Overview

The Executive Assistant II supports the Dean or Assistant Vice President by managing operational and administrative tasks, coordinating with senior university officials, and overseeing office activities and projects. The role requires initiative, judgment, and discretion in handling sensitive information and coordinating with various university units.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide direct support to the Assistant Vice President for Student Support and Opportunity Services, including assistance with the Inclusive Excellence Scholarship Program and departmental directors, focusing on budget reconciliation and purchasing.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent with four years of administrative support or secretarial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with financial record keeping, monitoring, and reconciliation is preferred.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, and training skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, database applications, and familiarity with university systems.
