The Impact You'll Make in this Role

This Executive Assistant position will provide high-level executive administrative. Supports Advanced Wound Care by handling a wide variety of administrative duties for a Senior Vice President. Applies highly developed administrative and coordination skills to complete activities. Acts independently on standard procedures and handles non-routine situations through interpretation of office guidelines and administrative practices. Proposes and implements solutions to administrative concerns. May provide regular guidance and instruction on work procedures and policy to support personnel. Seeks supervision as needed for direction and approvals.

  • Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and discretion with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to ensure seamless operations and support to one Senior Vice President in Global Advance Wound Care.
  • Exhibiting professionalism, efficiency, and a proactive approach to managing complex schedules, communication, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Responsible for calendar management and coordination of multiple complex calendars across the team, including scheduling meetings, events, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Managing all travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, transportation, and visas.
  • Administering travel and entertainment expense submission, process purchase orders, and monthly departmental expenses and headcount review.
  • Coordinating and preparing agendas and logistics for meetings, including room bookings, catering arrangements, and technical support.
  • Organizing meeting notes and minutes, identify follow-up actions, and track progress on open items.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Planning and coordinating onsite and offsite team meetings.
  • Handling confidential financial information and maintaining files/archives (electronic/physical).
  • Willingness to be on-call; high-energy, and a problem-solving attitude.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university AND Five (5) years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a Vice President or above.

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND Nine (9) years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a Vice President or above.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Prior experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a SVP, CFO, or CEO.
  • Anticipate the needs of the executives and proactively address any issues or concerns.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using Outlook and OneNote (calendar/meeting minutes), PowerPoint (staff meetings agenda, follow-ups), Concur (travel management), Excel (department budget management), Workday (system approvals, requisition creation) and other tools and technology.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Work location: Hybrid - either Maplewood, MN or San Antonio, TX

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $72,681 - $88,832, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
