Amazon MGM Studios is re-inventing how customers connect with their favorite shows, teams, and products by combining high-quality immersive interactive features and exclusive access to some of the world's most loved movies and TV series. All from a single service available on the web, mobile, and TV in 240+ countries and territories around the world. Amazon MGM Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide in exclusive service of Amazon's Prime Video customers. We need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights. ABOUT THE ROLE Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a seasoned, highly organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to support and serve as a business partner to the VP of Series Marketing in Culver City, California. This is not a purely administrative role—you will be the operational backbone of a fast-paced, creative team, anticipating your leader's needs before they arise and enabling the VP to focus on strategic priorities. You will expertly manage a complex, global calendar, coordinate travel, exercise excellent judgment in triaging competing priorities, and drive operational efficiency across the team. The Series Marketing team develops and executes cohesive, successful global marketing campaigns for our original series slate—working closely with creative, social, integrated marketing, and international partners to bring innovative campaigns to audiences worldwide. The ideal candidate is an experienced executive assistant who operates with a high degree of autonomy and sound judgment, succeeding with minimal guidance or supervision. They are skilled at anticipating problems, thinking several steps ahead, and resolving issues before they reach their leader. They thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, and ever-changing environment, with the proven ability to manage a high volume of complex, competing priorities and global scheduling needs. A detail-oriented planner, they communicate and respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, discretion, and grace under pressure. They handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost integrity. This is a role for someone who wants to build a deep, trusting, long-term partnership with the VP they support—growing over time into a vital leader on the team with the opportunity to own special initiatives with increased responsibility and team programs.

Key job responsibilities

  • Proactively own a complex, high-volume calendar and global scheduling, independently resolving conflicts and prioritizing the VP's time against business priorities
  • Manage expense reports and coordinate domestic/international travel
  • Anticipate the VP's needs, surfacing and resolving issues early and continuously improving processes to drive efficiency
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner and gatekeeper—exercising sound, independent judgment to represent the VP, make decisions on their behalf within agreed guidelines, and keep the VP informed of what matters most
  • Prepare the VP for meetings and key moments with agendas, briefing materials, and background, proactively surfacing decisions and action items
  • Build strong relationships with Executive Assistants and the leadership team across the company and with external partners
  • Track and drive key deliverables to completion on the VP's behalf, holding stakeholders accountable to deadlines
  • Plan the annual calendar and facilitate the integration/prioritization of business activities
  • Organize and execute team activities (staff meetings, all-hands, off-sites, social events)
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports and cross-functional partners
  • Support phone calls, messaging, and meeting/greeting internal and external guests
  • Support special projects as business needs arise
