The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two directors in our IT Services organization in Arlington, VA, Austin, TX, Irvine, CA, or Seattle, WA.

About Engine: We're the ones making sure your laptop, servers, and websites work seamlessly—on Prime Day, or on an ordinary Thursday—so that you can build the things you need.

This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

Key job responsibilities
* Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, responding to meeting requests, as well as annual operational planning, business planning, and performance review cycles.
* Coordinating domestic and international travel including organizing trip agendas and local logistics.
* Completing expense reports, purchase orders, managing corporate card purchases, and participating in budget planning and tracking as needed.
* Ensuring strategic, proactive and thoughtful support by serving as a strategic business partner by proactively engaging with leadership and acting as a liaison for direct reports across the globe
* Project and program management including tracking and helping drive key deliverables, following up on action items, and planning and organizing events.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience providing support to senior leadership or 3+ years Amazon experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- A strong desire (and aptitude) for learning; effective questioning
- Solid time management and organization skills
- US citizenship or permanent residency required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
