Mastercard is seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant to support the CFO, Commercial and related finance leaders in Purchase, NY. The role requires exceptional organization, proactive problem‑solving, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

You will coordinate administrative activities, ensure operational excellence, manage calendars and travel, prepare materials, and provide broad support to the CNPF Finance Team based in Purchase, NY.

Qualifications

  • Extensive administrative experience interfacing with c-suite executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Workday preferred.
  • Experience with expense management platforms (Concur).
  • Experience in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Experience supporting domestic and international travel.
  • Discretion with highly confidential information; proactive and solution oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Filter and prioritize executive & strategic meetings and communicate on behalf of the executives they support.
  • Manage calendars, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and distribute materials ahead of meetings.
  • Order supplies, file documents, maintain department records, and other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare correspondence, emails, reports, presentations or other documents.
  • Plan leadership meetings and team engagement activities.
  • Maintain and update internal and external distribution lists.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and coordinate Workday hiring processes.

Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Executive Assistant with demonstrated success supporting senior leaders in a fast‑paced, global corporate environment. This role requires exceptional organization, proactive problem‑solving, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. The Executive Assistant will support the CFO, Commercial and New Payment Flows (CNPF) and the CFO, Commercial by coordinating administrative activities, ensuring operational excellence, and enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities. The role will also provide broader administrative support to the CNPF Finance Team based in Purchase, NY, as needed.

Role
  • The Executive Assistant is the administrative liaison with others internal and external to Mastercard and will filter and prioritize executive & strategic meetings and communicate on behalf of the executives they support. This position helps create a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support day‑to‑day department operations in such areas as calendar management, scheduling meetings; managing travel arrangements, expense reporting; and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
  • Prepare meeting agendas and distribute meeting materials ahead of meetings
  • Ordering supplies, electronically filing documents, maintaining department records, and other duties, as assigned
  • Prepare correspondence; email; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation.
  • Plan leadership meetings and team engagement activities
  • Maintain and update internal and external distribution lists for email correspondence
  • Administer programs; projects or processes specific to the business units served; and maintain documents to monitor departmental information.
  • May assist and deliver ad hoc projects, as assigned
  • May monitor and coordinate Workday processes for hiring contractors and full-time personnel
All About You
  • Extensive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with c‑suite executive level management
  • Competency across the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Workday cloud based software a plus
  • Experience with expense management platforms (Concur)
  • Advanced experience in administrative support with experience within a matrixed, cross functional and global organization
  • Experience in supporting senior level executives in a fast‑paced corporate work environment
  • Experience in supporting domestic and international travel plans
  • Good understanding of strategic initiatives to prioritize meetings
  • Demonstrate professionalism and discretion, and experience in working with highly confidential information
  • Must be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team
  • Extremely collaborative and fostering a positive spirit and can‑do attitude and is also extremely open in accepting feedback and suggestions
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Intrinsically‑motivated, highly organized, detail‑oriented and results‑oriented
  • Ability to work well under deadlines, anticipate needs and prioritize work accordingly
  • Ability to work with limited supervision

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
