Executive Assistant – Finance/Crypto Start-Up

Location: Remote (with travel to NYC & Dallas HQ as needed)

Compensation: DOE (Depending on Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, assertive, and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to support C-suite executives at a fast-paced finance/crypto start-up. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates exceptional communication skills, and has prior experience working in high-growth organizations. This role requires a professional who can manage multiple priorities with discretion, efficiency, and sound judgment, while confidently acting as a direct, strategic partner to senior leadership.

This EA will primarily support a C-suite leader based in New York City, and must be willing to align to Eastern Time Zone hours. Occasional travel to both NYC and the Dallas HQ will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to C-suite executives, including calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other business documents.
  • Coordinate board meetings, investor calls, and executive offsites, including agenda preparation and follow-ups.
  • Manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Track and prioritize tasks, deadlines, and strategic initiatives to ensure executives’ goals are met.
  • Partner with other team members to ensure smooth operations in a distributed, remote-first environment.
  • Assist with special projects, research, and data analysis as directed by leadership.
  • Foster cross-functional communication between executives, teams, and external partners.
  • Anticipate executives’ needs, proactively resolving issues before they arise.
  • Serve as an assertive and direct EA, confidently addressing challenges and providing proactive solutions.
  • Willingness to travel to NYC and Dallas HQ as required to support executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Location: Remote; must be willing to travel to NYC and Dallas HQ as needed.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours to support a leader based in NYC.
  • Experience: Previous experience supporting C-suite leaders in a fast-paced start-up (finance or crypto preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools (Slack, Asana, Notion, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and thrive under pressure.
  • Assertive, confident, and professional, with the ability to take initiative and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrated discretion with sensitive information.
