This role focuses on keeping priorities on track through thoughtful diary management, travel planning and meeting coordination. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and help maintain effective ways of working across the area. You’ll support business administration by preparing presentations and drafting reports and helping pull together key documents such as business plans. You’ll also deputize in meetings where needed including making decisions on matters relating to the business area. Success means leaders and teams have the information, structure and timely coordination they need to move work forward without friction.

What you'll be doing

  • Arrange travel and accommodation and coordinate changes when plans shift
  • Coordinate activities, events, resources, meetings and services across internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and organize presentation decks and supporting materials and flag issues when something is not right
  • Draft reports and help assemble key documents such as business plans
  • Deputize in meetings where required and make decisions on matters relating to the business area
  • Manage external relationships and service providers to support day-to-day delivery
  • Act as a primary point of contact and gatekeeper for the area while maintaining confidentiality on sensitive activity
What we're looking for
  • Bring substantial experience providing executive assistant support including diary management and travel coordination
  • Coordinate multiple requests at pace with clear follow-up and strong responsiveness
  • Create and organize presentation decks and pull together supporting documents with attention to detail
  • Maintain task and request tracking to keep work moving and timelines visible
  • Plan meetings with effective sequencing and buffer time to avoid knock-on impacts
  • Use Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint and SharePoint to produce clear and accurate outputs
  • Process expenses and manage related administration with accuracy and good judgement
  • Work effectively in a close-knit team environment through collaborative ways of working
Keeping Innovation Banking moving

You’ll create structure across busy schedules and help ensure meetings, materials and follow-ups land well. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the business and with external providers to keep delivery smooth. If this sounds like the kind of work you enjoy we’d welcome your application.

As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including a robust Wellness Hub, all in a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
