Job summary

Kupu Ka ‘Eu is seeking qualified candidates for the Boeing Flight Attendant Instructor role to support the 89th Airlift Wing FTU at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The instructor will deliver high-quality instruction for executive airlift and CSO training, focusing on emergency protocols, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

Training will emphasize keeping accurate records, updating lesson materials, and coordinating with FTU leadership to ensure readiness and proficiency.

Qualifications

• Instruct EA FTU students per current training guides and courseware.
• Monitor student progress to ensure proficiency.
• Evaluate student performance and correct deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Executive Airlift (EA) FTU students in accordance with current training guides and courseware.
• Monitor student progress and assist students in achieving required proficiency.
• Evaluate student performance and support correction of identified deficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain files and records related to EA FTU training, including AF Form 1522s, short records, and related documentation.
• Review course materials and support updates after each class.
• Ensure monthly and quarterly reviews and closeouts are completed prior to submission to the squadron.
• Administer tests and support student evaluation requirements.
• Request power-on trainers as needed, in coordination with Formal Training Unit leadership.
• Provide input to FTU flying trainers on recommended training focus areas.
• Maintain and adjust lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, and surveys in coordination with staff.
