Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced AI Strategic Advisor to support executive leadership with AI strategy development, roadmaps, assessments, and recommendations for a federal customer mission.

This role emphasizes governance, enterprise modernization, and continuous improvement of AI adoption while translating complex AI concepts into business outcomes with a focus on security, privacy, and ethics. Collaboration with CIOs, technical teams, and program offices is essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 12+ years with a Bachelor's, 10+ with a Master's, or 7+ with a PhD in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face).

Responsibilities

• Support executive leadership with AI strategy development, roadmaps, assessments, and recommendations.
• Translate complex AI concepts into business-focused solutions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with CIO organizations and program offices on AI initiatives.
• Conduct workshops, training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
• Provide technical documentation, operational guidance, and implementation recommendations.
• Support continuous AI governance and enterprise modernization efforts.
• Maintain deployed AI systems including upgrades and operational support.
